Pump Test System

This automated test system evaluates a wide range of performance metrics for a cooling pump assembly. The LabVIEW based system programs the DUT then initiates a series of tests to check:

• Serial communication verification
• Motor voltage & current
• Impeller speed and flow
• Air and water temperatures
• Leak and level sensor functions

Data is displayed and collected to allow seamless integration to the client’s statistical process control (SPC) in the manufacture of these high end assemblies.

The DUT operates at 350VDC and is fully guarded during test to protect the test operator. Access to the test chamber is interlocked to prevent exposure to electrical or mechanical hazards. The system is ergonomically designed to allow efficient and safe loading/unloading of assemblies and to contain any leaked or spilled water.
