Interlock Safety Switch Assembly Test

This automated test system was designed to test interlock safety switches for a leading industrial controls manufacturer. The system performs a final inspection of an assembled interlock switch module to verify it’s function. Keys are automatically cycled to simulate the interlock function and a serially controlled AC/DC voltage source tests solenoid lock and release functions. Optical sensors verify critical component assembly integrity and LED indicator function.

This system was designed to meet the rigorous demands of high volume production in a mix environment. Modularity handles the high mix while providing a path for the client to expand the system for future test needs.
