Interface Test Adapter (ITA) & Test Fixture

Electromechanica, Inc. designs and builds custom Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) for end users and OEMs of modular functional test systems. Our test fixture and cable harness capabilities allow us to efficiently interface to provide high quality, cost effective test fixture solutions.  We have designed ITAs and test fixtures based on Virginia Panel (VPC) and other interfaces. Our ITAs and test fixturing provide a robust, reliable front end to your test system. Our capabilities include the test of PCBs and full assemblies including:

• Sensitive analog signals
• High speed digital I/O and clock signals
• Baseband and broadband RF and wireless
• Optoelectronic components
• IR communication
• High speed serial interfaces including USB, SATA, Ethernet
• RS-232 and RS-485 serial comms
• High power / high voltage AC and DC
• Pneumatics, fluidics, electromechanical and thermal

EMI has designed and built bed-of-nails type pogo pin test fixtures for functional test of populated boards and can provide multiple axis of Device Under Test (DUT) interface and engagement. Additionally we design and fabricate custom interface cable assemblies when required to provide cabled connections.
